How to Transition Your Dog to a Raw Diet — Without the Stress
Switching to raw doesn’t have to be hard. With a slow, steady approach, even picky or sensitive dogs can thrive on a raw diet.
Start by mixing 25% raw food with 75% of their current food for a few days. Gradually increase the raw amount every 2–3 days until you’ve fully transitioned over 7–10 days.
Keep an eye on their digestion — loose stools are normal at first but should settle quickly. Always ensure fresh water is available and avoid mixing raw with kibble in the same bowl after the first few days, as they digest differently.
And if your dog’s unsure at first? Warm it slightly or top with bone broth to entice them. Trust the process — the benefits are worth it.
